What we do
The Alameda Photographic Society meets semi-monthly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7:30pm at 2441 San Jose Avenue in Alameda California. Map These meetings are competitive meetings where Slides, Prints and Digital Images are critiqued by an an outside judge.
Winning Images are then entered into a regional competition where they are judged against the works of other Northern California Photographic Clubs.
We hold regular Field trips and seminars related the art of Photography.
Mission
The purpose of the Alameda photographic Society is to promote the art and science of photography in its various forms through the association of its members for the study and entertainment; to encourage photographic contests and exhibitions, and to stimulate greater interest and advancement in the knowledge and practice of photography
